Raven Taxation was founded by Cathy Grimmer, a Chartered Tax Advisor, and is based near Ripon in North Yorkshire. Cathy has more than 25 years experience in tax. In addition to having worked for some of the best accountancy firms in the UK, Cathy has set up and run a tax helpline and tax return service for a specialist legal and professional helpline company and was Director of Tax for British Medical Association Professional Services (BMAPS). |
Before setting up Raven Taxation, Cathy was responsible for tax compliance and advisory services in the Yorkshire Office of a top 20 accountancy firm, undertaking all areas of taxation advice with particle emphasis on tax planning and property matters. She has presented numerous seminars on a variety of taxation issues as well as writing articles for various publications. Cathy is known for her ability to provide practical solutions to complex tax technical issues and to explain them in layman’s terms. |
